Celia Gámez (Aug 25, 1908 – December 10, 1992) was a Argentian film actress, and one of the icons of the Golden Age of Spanish theatre golden era. She was more commonly known in the Spain of Franco´s particularly in her later years with The Protegida.

She was born in Argentina. There is some dispute regarding date of birth. There is a large (but not unanimous) which means that she died on her 87th birthday. Some claim her birth although no actual evidence (such as a copy of either the birth or the death certificate).
